I wonder if “Skein” is the right word to describe a group of Angry Geeks — “skein“, of course, being the word to describe a group of geese … much like this group which is trying to accost a dateline NBC mole. Not that she didn’t deserve outing, but with their portable camcorders and their witty sayings “hey — this is for all those predators!” (alluding to NBC’s “To Catch a Predator Series I-XII) they certainly sound like they’re squawking like a cloud of angry geese. Wait … “cloud” would mean that they’re bats, and bats would allude to something like The Batman, but Batman would never ask the Justice League to hound Lex Luthor back to his car with camcorders. I know — they’re acting like hyenas. A pack of wild and crazy hyenas — just like in The Lion King. Heh, heh … I wonder which one of them would be Whoopi Goldberg? Except you don’t call a group of hyenas a “pack”. They’re called a cackle. Anyway, I guess, yes, a cackle of wild and crazy geeks came down on a mole to chase her out with camcorders and clever pop-culture references. Whoooo … that must have been threatening [tip: animal group names]
