			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a long eloquent argument that carries <a href="http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/burying_the_digg_clones.php" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.readwriteweb.com');" target="_blank">not the slightest whiff of sour grapes</a>, the guy behind one of the bigger <strike>digg clones</strike> social news sites argues for why social voting is merely a feature &#8212; and if this is so, why its silly to call any one site which has this feature prominently a &#8220;clone&#8221; of the first and most successful version of this.  Interesting argument, but a) isn&#8217;t this conversation more than a few months old? (does anyone care about this kind of nomenclature anymore?) and b) are any of those initial <strike>digg clones</strike> social news sites still around?</p>
