Running Adsense? Do You Have A Privacy Policy? (You Need One Now)
by Tony Hung on March 8, 2008
As per Jensense, the place for all things Adsense, if you’re running Adsense, you may have noticed that updated Terms of Service they made you sign over the past few weeks. Buried in all that dense text was something about having a mandatory privacy policy — something I admittedly glossed over. Jensense has a sample template that you can use (which I did). If you haven’t created one, go ahead and use this one, because Adsense now requires you to have it.

Tony,

@Mark — I know … I think there a whole lot of folks who missed this one, actually.

Hmmmmmmmm. That’s a very interesting disclosure there, as I’ve railed about Facebook’s beacon in the past.
I wonder if I should nuke the Google Ads? :|

Actually – never mind. The “Web Beacon” google refers to is much more innocuous than Facebook’s Beacon. My bad…
