		<description>I&#039;m sorry this blog was posing as purely based on research and fact.  In fact, research and fact make up about 20% of this blog, but that varies on the mood that I&#039;m on.  The balance delves into supposition, hypothesis and conjecture in *addition* to speculation, free-wheeling rumours, with a dash of (but only to myself) entertaining prose.

Dude, let me reiterate:

1) dead zones are a fact.  This has been known to the apple/iphone community for some time

2) As for that Finnish technology, I&#039;m quoting what an analyst said.  I always take what analysts say with a bucket of salt -- the same goes for blogs.

3) There are always -- *always* -- problems with first generation hardware, and Apple isn&#039;t immune to this.
