Maybe it's due to the fact that "I dont tipe leik dis al de time LOL" or that I don't use Myspace/Facebook or that I know a great deal more about technology then my other friends. But on email and IM, I use email if I need someone to know something but aren't online, if I use IM it's because I REALLY need you to know something and you better not forget it.
