Well, it looks like everyone has pretty much panned the Blogging Code of Conduct. Which is no surprise. But, if I was Tim O’Reilly, what kind of options would I have to get it going *anyway*?
Is there a tactic I could use that would get the Blogging Code of Conduct widely adopted which *doesn’t* hinge on the A-list and early adopters of approving?
A way that would get *instant* traction and adoption by much of the blogging masses?
I think there is.
And I wrote about it at the BlogHerald, so you’ll have to check it out over there. ;)
PS. Sorry for the cross posting, but the BlogHerald is where I initially wrote my thoughts on a Code of Conduct, so that’s where I’m bringing the conversation back to (for now)
PPS. For those new to my blog, I write my thoughts on blogging per se (”meta-blogging”) over there, as I am on staff at the BH as a writer and the editor.
