BusinessLogs, the personal blog of Mike Rundle of 9rules, has been acquired by Splashpress Media. Splashpress has been on a bit of a tear recently, acquiring the BlogHerald (of which I am the current editor), Performancing, the Cutline Wordpress Theme, and Tubetorial.
Having all of these blogging brands under one umbrella poses interesting challenges for Splashpress, but also unprecedented opportunity to create some interesting and integrated content that is helpful for bloggers everwhere.
2007 is shaping up to be interesting, indeed ;)

I always wondered, when a company acquires someone’s personal blog, what does that mean? Do they take it over completely and have new people write there, or everything stays as before but they take care over the marketing?
