Sure, those on the ground in an area may be able to report on it, but different areas may care about different slants on the news. An American, a German, and a Brazilian reader may all care about different aspects of a story about Darfur. Outsourcing news to one source will limit the viewpoints and alienate readers by not taking into account their culture.</description>
