So, I signed up for the free promotion from Moo about a couple of weeks ago in conjunction with Skype, and today I got a pleasant surprise in the mail.
Moo, as you might recall, is the company that makes 1/2 sized businesscards (did you also hear that they secured series A financing for several million dollars? That’s right — a businesscard making company) that look pretty cool and awesome. Heavy card stock, glossy finish, nice crisp printing — what’s not to like? If their copy was to believed anyway.
The Skype promotion involved putting your skype details on the back (but this was optional — thanks Moo!); in the past they’ve run a promotion with Flickr where you can put your Flickr photo on the front with some details on the back.
This continues to be an ongoing option, and something I may yet try (although, I’d love to see a Zooomr partnership!); the regular options also include a “skype” business card as well (a la most recent promotion).
My thoughts? They’ve received some pimp juice before — but let me add in the … uh, juicing, because Moo sure as hell delivers!
Heavy card stock — check!
Glossy finish — check!
Printed as designed — check!
Sassy copy — check!

Sadly, the free promotion is done, but until the end of November, they are running an exceptional promotion, as all shipping is free — which is also pretty cool as these cats are all the way in the UK.
