And they’re documenting the whole process on their blog! No due date yet, but details to come include:
- How much revenue DropSend brings in each month
- What the rate of revenue growth is each month
- How many active users we have
- How many users are on each plan (Free, Basic $5, Standard $9, Pro $19 and Business $99)
- How many users access DropSend through the desktop tool versus the web interface
- And more …
For the uninitiated, DropSend is one of those Web Apps that allows you send massive email attachments, up to 1 gigabyte, but also offers web storage as well. Free accounts offer 250mb, but paid accounts go as high as 250GB for storage with unlimited emails you can send (for $99/ mo).
Coolest thing? It makes money on its own with zero marketing (although I’m sure the 37Signals label link has something everything to do with it).
