A photoediting software for the Mac only — not supposed to replace Photoshop, but apparently it does batch editing really well. Since I don’t use a Mac, pooh for me — but great for you! (If you use a Mac)

I’ve always had problems surfing for extensions or widgets — not enough are displayed at the same time I find. Check this page out — it makes it super easy to choose (ignore the spartan design)

My boyfriend uses Aperture for his photographs. He was able to learn it fairly quickly as compared to the photoshop learning curve. For managing photos it works pretty good.
Damnation for Adobe only releasing “Apple-only” products!
(On the other hand, I’m glad your boyrfriend is enjoying the free trial)
