Well, after posting almost continuously for 4-5 weeks, it felt a bit odd to take a break this past weekend.
But I had a good excuse! I swear! :)
Saturday, I had a lengthy pre-natal class with the missus — its always a bit interesting to hear things from the person leading the class, who are all inevitably grizzly veterans of the post partum ward (nurses), compared to what I’ve been taught in medical school. You always learn interesting and new things. ;)
Then the same day, I had to move my entire desk, computer, three external drives, printer / fax, modem, router and speakers to another room, as my study has transformed into a nursery. I had no idea it was going to take so long, but trying to re-route what seems like miles and miles of wire so they look ‘hidden’ is an exercise in and of itself.
Sunday, well — I was on call at the hospital until 8am this morning. Needless to say, I was busy. :)
But, back to the grind of things!
I’d just like to thank everyone who has subscribed to my feed and has hung around thus far (no pun intended) for my virtual scribblings on this blog. Its only been about 40 days since I started blogging in earnest, and I have met incredible people, wrote about incredible events, and what continues to amaze me is the strong sense of community out there — in all its forms.
Here’s to the next 40 days, and all the craziness and awesomeness it may bring.
Cheers,
Tony Hung.
